It’s been a busy few months for me, working at my day job, and working hard to stay healthy.
Everything seems to take longer these days, lol!
So this Wednesday I’m celebrating a birthday.
Hardly seems possible.
So to celebrate, I bought myself this spandy new HD t.v. for my bedroom.
I had hoped to self-install cable on my new toy, but it appears that the cable outlet in my bedroom needs to be fixed.
So Comcast is coming out Thursday to get me all set up.
Luckily, I’m home on Thursday (taking a few days off to celebrate my birth).
Keeping my fingers crossed that the cable outlet can be fixed.
I’m enjoying the short work week.
Tomorrow is Thursday already, and I’m very happy about that.
I’m glad that Gustav petered out when it did. The damage is bad, but it could have been worse.
The Republican convention is this week, so I’m watching ‘The Winds of War” on DVD, thanks to Netflix.
I’m also reading (as in books), and getting to bed early every night.
And this weekend I’m going to spend some time with my grandchildren.
And that’s it, at least for now.
Thanks again for all of your comments, sharing your opinions, your stories, with me.
I’m not going to blog about this again until they find Caylee, one way or the other.
But I’ll tell you one thing–this weekend, I’m going to hold my grandchildren a bit tighter.
