I’m walking, I’m walking….

I got in 30 minutes of walking today, just by getting off the bus a few stops earlier than usual.

I’m making this part of my Monday-Friday routine, then I plan to take some long walks this weekend.

Eating has become a new experience.

Since I’m not currently overeating, I get really hungry throughout the day. I’ve packed some healthy snacks to take to work tomorrow.

Thanks for all of your supportive comments!

  1. One thing I found that made me less hungry was cutting out processed foods. I started reading ingredient labels and was shocked at how many lunch meats and sausages have types of sugar added. Once I stopped eating stuff like that my constant hunger went away. Strange but true. x

  2. I'd have to catch up but it sounds lke you're on a health kick….you go girl :)) xoxo

  3. Sounds like you are off to a great start. I agree with DJ make sure to read labels, it goes a long way. Also drinking water often will take away the hunger, because we are really thirsty and not hungry.

  4. Good luck with that, I am so excited for you, not for the diabetes but for your new exercise adventure. I love running, but that love all started with daily walks. Keep on track and go for it. 🙂

  5. I walk 40 minutes a day to work and back – it's boring but I prefer it to taking the smelly old bus and I know it must be doing some good.

    Keep it up!

  6. I like going for walks. Mommy says good for you.

  7. Walking is healthy 🙂
    Keep it up …..

  8. Keep walking, Gran! A change in lifestyle will help you feel much healthier, I bet!

  9. Congratulations for your new “style of life”.

Walking is one of the greatest thing you can do for yourself.

I walk almost every day and feel much better than before.

  10. It's great weather for walking now! Have fun!
