blowin’ the stink off

When my brother and I were kids, our Dad used to yell at us, “get away from that damn television, go outside and blow the stink off.”

He would shake his head as he uttered these words, but he would be smiling as he said said them.

And that’s what I did this morning, after breakfast: I blew the stink of the indoors off me.

It’s a beautiful day in Seattle, and people are out walking, bicycling, and roller skating.

Now I’m going to start watching movies!
