It’s almost 6:15 p.m. in Seattle, and it’s 90 degrees.
It was 50 degrees, just lat week.
And now it’s ninety.
Phew.
Of course I don’t have air conditioning, just a really good oscillating fan.
I took a tepid shower about an hour ago, and I’m dressed in a sleeveless shift that just covers my butt.
A few minutes ago, I got really hot and uncomfortable, so I took a COLD shower.
Except I didn’t get all the way INTO the shower–too big a shock.
First, I stuck my right foot in the cold running water, then my left foot.
Nice.
Then, I stuck my head in the shower, and cooled myself off very nicely.
Yeah, I’m weird.
But I’m not hot right now!
