I have a nice doctor.
Besides giving me medication for high blood pressure, he wants me to lose 22 pounds.
Okay.
Here I go:
And I need to watch my “hunny” intake!
I’m also cutting back to one cup of coffee a day.
And limiting my salt, of course. That’s not too tough, but sometimes I crave potato chips. I’ll have to watch that.
I have a really bad sweet tooth, and I need to watch myself. Along with the other members of my team, I’ve been eating lots of candy at work, and I will have to stay away from C’s candy dish.
And I do need to increase my exercise.
Wish me well!
And by the way, have a great Sunday.
Now, back to my quest to lose that 22.

Not an easy task but I’m sure you can and will do it!
As for the crisps (potato chips as you call them) we have some unsalted ones over here where they give you a small sachet of salt to add as much or as little as you like..
Maybe you have these as well?
We have lightly salted chips, Lady Banana, but I’m not sure we have the kind of unsalted crisps you have in England. I think that when I need an infusion of salt I will buy a smaller bag of chips! For me, the trick is to eat a handful and not a bagful at a time
Have a great week.
I have confidence that you can make it, but it is not going to be a walk in the park, altering our diet never is. I never quite got off salt altogether but I switched to lite salt about half the sodium of the regular kind, the chips will be hard to put away but you can do it. Good luck friend, you have a good idea on the chips just eat less and before you know it you will be eating less and less.
You are so right, Floyd! It’s not going to be a wlk in the park, that’s for sure
Thanks for the vote of confidence.
GOt mom on sugar free jello and she eats a lot of it. Helps the craving of the sweets. Angel food cake is good. The salt is so bad in so many things it is amazing. For her the lunchmeat she WAS eating was so bad it was terrible. It hides in things you just can’t imagine. I will wish you all the luck in the world my friend.. take care
I will, Caroldee, and I hope you are feeling better as well.
22? I have to loose 30. I wish you lived closer. We could be walking buddies.
Rose, I would love to have you for a walking buddy!
