I’m off to bed with my book, “The Lace Reader,” which is pretty good so far.
My doctor wanted me to have some routine lab work done today, including an EKG, as my blood pressure is still high and I will probably be on medication soon.
So I took 1.5 hours of my precious PTO to head to the lab, then I stopped at the grocery store on my way home.
I’ve been resisting blood pressure medicine for years, and it’s finally time to bite the bullet and take medication, I guess. I’ve been talking to colleagues about this, and I now know people in their twenties (not overweight, seemingly healthy) who are taking blood pressure meds.
So anyway, it’s off to bed I am, and dang glad tomorrow is Thursday.
TTFN.

I had to take the meds for blood pressure when I was younger and could go back on it again, like you I resisted for a long time, the job I had at that time was playing a key role also and on top of that the cholesterol was off the chart. Bite the bullet it could save your life, hope you are feeling better,,cheers.
BP meds take the pressure off your kidneys and just about everything else. If mine weren’t so low from anemia I KNOW I would be on them for sure.
NICE CHAIR you got.. I love the color green and it sure does look comfy.. with a nice blankie you are all set.. COngrats on the picture.. miss those on here. Take care.. : )
If you gotta take meds make sure you take em!
As those before have said it may save your life!!
I once had high BP, 160/110 for weeks, I came off the pill and with weeks it was down to normal, but I’m sure this is not what’s causing yours
I hope you are getting enough exercise and eating a low salt diet!
Thanks, Floyd, I’m feeling okay just tired, I guess! You are right about the meds, I know. I see my doctor next Friday.
You’re right, Caroldee, for sure. I’m going to start taking more pictures with my camera and sending them to email, know that I’ve finally figured how to text message!
Take care, my friend.
Lady Banana, I’ve been watching salt for some time, eating better, and have lost more weight. I went off the pill years ago, and I don’t need to practice birth control anymore, thanks to mother nature
